The "National College Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition-The Sixth National College Teachers' Self-Made Experimental Teaching Equipment Innovation Competition" was held in Qingdao from May 21 to 23, 2021. The entry "Optical Coherence Microscope" of Zhao Qingliang's team won the second prize of free design in the competition after fierce competition of preliminary review, on-site demonstration, defense and expert review.
The national college teachers self-made experimental teaching equipment innovation competition started in May 2008, held every two years. The sponsor is the China Association of Higher Education. This competition is divided into two categories: free design category and enterprise proposition category. There is no theme requirement for free design category, and participating teachers can design their own works according to the characteristics of the discipline and the needs of experimental teaching. A total of 303 works were shortlisted, 126 works entered the final defense, 13 first prizes, 40 second prizes and 73 third prizes were awarded. Only two of the four finalists in our school entered the final, and the other finalist won the third prize.
